Dorset Forest Garden shepherd’s huts stay glamping gift voucher
|A stay at Dorset Forest Garden is a wonderful wedding, birthday or anniversary present for someone special.
If you wish to give a break for two as a gift we will send you a voucher and our visitor’s guide that can be booked against specific dates at a later date to suit.
There are just two shepherd’s huts (the Forager or the Artisan) both with stunning far reaching views over rolling Dorset countryside (designated an area of outstanding natural beauty).
Each hut includes en-suite facilities, with shower and flushing loo. The hut has a log burning stove with a free, unlimited supply of wood and a generous kingsize bed with feather duvet and pillows. This makes for super comfortable nights! The dresser comes fully equipped with a starter kit for your stay (including marshmallows for toasting over the fire) and there is inside and outside cooking equipment plus games, books, and an OS map. Outside there’s a fire pit for each hut and a spacious Scandinavian BBQ hut making cooking fun whatever the weather! Dorset Forest Garden is 20 acres and run using environmentally friendly permaculture principles. It includes sheep, horses, free range ducks and trout as part of an aquaponic growing system that is based on principles used by the Aztecs for producing healthy nutritional food. Our farmhouse was built on passive solar principles.
With not a road or house visible from the hut they are well situated for star gazing.
